Verde sniffs, before nodding. “Of course.” Honey colored eyes became half-lidded in thought, a smirk crossing his rugged features. A light scoff escaped his mouth, followed by a roll of the eyes.
“If that’s what you think, Viper. Then let’s play~”
“Muu, I’ll be indulgent and let you deal, then. Lest you accuse me of my tricks even before we start.”
Viper makes himself comfortable, nudging the pack of cards between him and the other Arcobaleno.
“Now why would I ever do something like that?” asks Verde, as he grabs the pack of cards, opens it, pulls out the cards. He takes away the jokers and begins to shuffle. Once done with that, the green haired man deals the cards between the two.
With the cards now in hand, Verde looks over his hand and sucks in a breath. ‘Well it seems my hand won’t ever be the best.’ A 2 of spades, a 5 of diamonds, a 6 of spades, another 2 this one of hearts and then a 7 of diamonds. “Remind me of the rules again Viper, or has it been too long for either of us?”
I wouldn’t be talking about green things Colonello (gestures to Colonello’s wardrobe) (steps to the side) I don’t think a fight is what you want to start Colonello.
Well it just so happens that my shade of green is much more appealing than yours, kora! [sniffs in defiance] You sure about that, scientist?

Verde raised a brow at Skull’s words and his exaggerated movements. The scientist sighed, before giving the Cloud Bearer a slight smile.
“It’s cold and I’d like to keep my head warm,” he responded to the purple haired arcobaleno. “I see you still haven’t gotten some tact - and you wonder why Reborn and Colonello belittle you.” sniffed the green haired arcobaleno.
The scientist bent down to pick up his hat and placed it on his head, making sure that it was as he had had it before. He then seemed to close more within himself, to gather more warmth from the dark coat he wore.
“So tell me Skull, what brings you out on such a day?”
“Fine fine. I was only saying.” he said as he dusted himself off and readjusted his ear muffs.
“Oh shut up! You don’t have to bring those two up.” he huffed, obviously scowling or what could be taken as a pout.“Anyways..I was just going out to get some snacks since I kind of ran out of them at home.” Pausing for a moment, he continued however mumbling more to himself than anything. “I think I might get some cake today…also soup would be nice for dinner.” Realizing that Verde was still there he shook his head, laughing awkwardly. “Ah, sorry. Well..maybe if you want you can come along?” It would make his life easier having an extra helping hand. “I could pick up a few more groceries since you’d be helping me carry them, right?”
Verde hummed, shaking his head as he looked away from the purple haired arcobaleno. His eyes looked around the area making note of things, before he turned his attention back to Skull. “You know it’s true though,” he murmured in responded to the man’s huff.
The green haired man thought over the idea. He had really wanted to get home and get nice and cozy, but here he had met up with an arcobaleno. Not someone he could exactly call a friend, but another of the few people he could tolerate to stand around.
“It’s fine, we all tend to blabber on,” said Verde, the corner’s of lips quirking up giving a hint of a smile. “Oh why not? I’ll tag along with you.” It was a bit out of character for him to help others grocery shop (hell he even barely did his), but it would be nice to be around someone that wasn’t his own people. “Lead the way Skull.”
Verde shivered, huddling in the scarf and the extra black winter coat he wore. He hated the weather at the moment. It had gone from sunny, warm spring-like weather, to a cold, gray and almost murderous weather. At the moment he was completely set upon just going back home instead of going to where he was originally going. So with that he spun on his heel and before he knew it he, was on his arse, blinking away the slight daze.
The wool hat he wore fell off, revealing his messy head of green hair.
“Excuse me,” he murmured as he reached for his hat and put it back on, “I wasn’t exactly aware of my surroundings.” A familiar pitchy voice met his and fixing his lopsided glasses, he noticed the purple armored babe before him.
“Skull?” he called the name out, pushing himself up and standing over the cloud arcobaleno who laid on his back. Verde tugged on collar of Skull’s sweater like armor, helping the usual-lackey up into a sitting position. “Are you fine, Skull?”
Skull had just merely gone outside to get a few snacks for himself since he was renting an apartment in the area and he listening to his cravings of puddings, cakes and other sweets. It was rather chilly so he atleast put on a scarf and ear muffs. There was also the fact that his metal piercings made his ears ache from the cold.
On his way there, he saw someone familiar and had decided to go see who exactly it was. However just as he was about to place a hand on their shoulder, they immediately turned around and walked right into him. Who the hell does that anyways?! Next thing he knows is that he’s being helped up a bit. “…Verde? I KNEW I recognized you. Yeah yeah, I’m fine. Since when do you ever wear hats anyways? You look creepier with them.” There he goes saying the first thing that comes to mind as usual.

Verde’s eye twitched, another tick appearing on his forehead. Still he forced himself to smile and he looked up at the child before him. “Really now? How sweet of you,” he said, sarcasm dripping from his words. Puffing his cheek slightly, the green haired babe, gave a squinted look to the child. “And you do know of course that there wouldn’t be a mess whatsoever if you hadn’t bothered making banana peels appear around me.”
Breathing in deeply, Verde turned away from Fran, opting to return his attention to the papers before him on the short table. “If you will, Fran, do clean up this mess and go bother someone else. I’m busy.”
“But that wouldn’t be any fun at all,” he decided. To make up for that fact, Fran gave Verde a rather large strawberry hat, one that obstructed his view while he tried to work.
“It isn’t as if I made it for anyone other than you. Verrypoo should be more appreciative of the fact that I don’t ignore him like everyone else does.”
“Ah?” Verde stumbled slightly to the side as a sudden weight settled itself on his head as well as covering his vision. It led the Lightening Arcobaleno slipping on one of the illusioned banana peels. “Ouf!”
“It isn’t as if I made it for anyone other than you. Verrypoo should be more appreciative of the fact that I don’t ignore him like everyone else does.”
Verde’s upper lip twitched, followed by his right eye. Sitting up, the arcobaleno tried his best to yank the ridiculous object off his head, to no avail. Clenching his fists, Verde looked in what he assumed to be Fran’s direction.
“If I decide to ‘play’ with you, will you get rid of this ridiculous thing?”
‘Children….I hate them.’
Verde up in thought and along with biting his lip as well. He really shouldn’t be wagering his money, nor was he going to offer a bail out in any way.
“Hm, I’ve not much to wager, but perhaps this will work. If I win, you owe me a favor that I can call upon you, hn?”
“And the same goes for me, muu?” Mammon smirks, peering up at Verde with his illusioned eyes and perhaps feeling more thankful that he’d run into the Arcobaleno earlier that evening.
“Tall wager, Verde. Let’s see if you can keep with it, muu.~”
